This cultural package immerses you in the rich history of the Vecht River. All villages and country houses on the Vecht have a special history. Our guide and art historian Juliette Jonker-Duynstee can tell you about it with great enthusiasm and expertise. She also likes to share with you which famous people now live in these beautiful places.
You don’t just view the villages and houses from the water: we interrupt the historic cruise along the Vecht with a stopover in the town of Loenen. There we take a walk through the old and atmospheric streets. Let the past come back to life with this unique package!

The pearl of the Vecht region

Loenen aan de Vecht is nicknamed “the pearl of the Vecht region” – and quite rightly so. Therefore, a visit to this picturesque village should not be missing from our historic cruise on the Vecht. The walk through Loenen takes you past a mill, beautiful enclosures, unusual houses and the Gothic church to the former Kronenburg Castle.

Program Historical Cruise on the Vecht

2 p.m.
The starting point of your cruise is the center of Breukelen, where one of our salon boats awaits you. On board we welcome you with coffee, tea and pastries. After the captain’s welcome speech, Juliette takes over the microphone for an interesting commentary.
3 p.m.
Arrival in Loenen. You will disembark for a walking tour of downtown led by Juliette.
4 p.m.
You will re-board the salon boat, we will sail in the direction of Breukelen. Along the way, we will serve appetizers and drinks and there will be ample opportunity to chat and ask Juliette questions.
5 p.m.
You will be back in Breukelen, end of program.

41-65 people: €69.
