A unique restaurant package

Dining on a saloon boat on the Westeinderplassen: it may sound a bit unusual. But really, why not? The place is cozy, the service is good and the dishes are perfect.
In this unique à la carte package, you make your choice from the menu on board. That is passed on to the restaurant we work with – or a restaurant you prefer, of course. As soon as the order arrives, the kitchen brigade goes to work. The moment the starters, mains and desserts are ready, the boat is at the restaurant to take everything on board. The dishes come fresh from the kitchen, straight to your plate.

For the package dining on a boat on the Westeinderplassen we have a standard program, you can see it below. Of course, we can also vary on that, just the way you want it.

6 p.m.
You will be welcomed on board with a drink. The captain will tell you about the route you will take on the Westeinderplassen.
6:20 p.m.
While sailing, you choose your appetizer, main course and dessert. The captain picks them up at the restaurant. The appetizer is served immediately.
9 p.m.
Returning to the place of departure.

Liquorice & basil marinated salmon with crab salad, soya-yuzu vinaigrette and cream of peas
Homemade veal fricandeau with salad of pommes Ratte and truffle mayonnaise, cauliflower and French dressing
Melanzane salad with smoked tomato, crispy eggplant and pesto of fresh mint, pine nuts and ricotta cheese

Main courses

Sea bass baked on the skin with Alaskan scallop, fennel mousseline and sauce Bouillabaisse
Grilled Black Angus steak with potato-corn croquette, grilled greens and homemade BBQ sauce
Pumpkin gnocchi with broad beans, fresh herb salad, pecorino cheese and chanterelles

Desserts

Chocolate sponge cake, marinated strawberries, orange & elderflower mousse

Take your time
