Your event on Steamship Success
Our luxurious saloon steamer is a very suitable event ship for a product presentation, temporary exhibition or other (business) event. Upper salon and lower salon have large windows, allowing daylight to enter on all sides. This makes this boat a very attractive sailing event venue. You can even have the ship dock at different locations on 1 day or several days.
The Succes’s sun deck lends itself perfectly to the presentation of an artist or band. It forms a nice stage that can be easily seen from the shore.
There's the music boat!
The Succes is also known in sailing Holland as the “music boat,” because of her steam organ. This so-called “calliope,” the largest in Europe, can be heard from afar. Calliope means “with the beautiful voice. Our steam organ does indeed have that, but her voice is also quite loud. Therefore, the organ does not play continuously, but at set times.
The Success is a welcome guest at events at home and abroad!
Wherever there is water in front of us, we can moor. Therefore, when we are approached about boat rentals for events, the Success is our regular answer.
At nautical events such as Sail Amsterdam, Sail Harlingen and Sail Den Helder, the Succes cannot be missing. But this crowd-pleaser also feels at home at numerous port days and steam festivals.
The steamship can remain ashore, take short tours or be used as a shuttle between multiple locations. Moored, everyone is welcome to tour the ship. The saloon café serves snacks and drinks, and there are regular short excursions to the hold where the steam engines can be admired.
