Highly recommended! Finally getting out there again in corona time.
It was enjoyable to cruise the Stichtse Vecht with Rederij Belle in the fully restored historic Salon Boat “Adeline.” The explanation of the historic stylish boat and the route sailed was excellent and made the afternoon complete. A particularly successful outing in corona time, which we looked forward to for a long time. Great catering, atmospheric entourage and importantly: Completely customizable, so corona-tasting!
Summer is over again. Nyenrode Business University’s Tax Center can look back on the successful two-day Summercourse. They were full, educational days for the participants. Therefore, the first evening of each course continued informally with a cruise down the Amstel River with “the Lady of Amstel. The welcome on the ship, by the captain, was very warm each time. In the spacious, cozy boat, there was plenty of discussion and catching up with acquaintances over a kindly served drink. The extensive Indian buffet also tasted great to the participants! The smooth organization of the tours certainly contributed to the enjoyable experience of both participants and Tax Center staff.
By now our wedding day is a little while behind us, but what a fantastic day we have to look back on. Also on the Dame van Amstel everything was super arranged, for which we want to thank you very much! Sometimes you need pictures to remember things again and because of that we especially want to thank again the very nice captain! We regularly see him in photos, such as helping the groom’s mother, who is already 83 and mostly in a wheelchair, board the boat, and my nephew Lars (whom I was very happy he could attend due to the brain tumor he was born with) who loved sitting with the captain. At the end, he can also be seen again helping bride prevent the dress from getting too dirty during a huge rainstorm! Thanks again on behalf of both of us!

My father loves boating. He and my mother enjoyed long vacation cruises on their yacht the “GOPLALI.” Unfortunately, his health has been letting him down lately, which has made independent sailing more and more limited. In honor of his 65th birthday, the idea arose to organize an all-expense paid boating trip with family and loved ones per surprise. After some searching on the Internet, we found the ship “Belle van Zuylen” in Breukelen. Suitable for smaller groups, cruises on the Vecht, and interpretation as desired. Upon telephone contact with the Shipping Company, we found that all of our wishes could be realized. Among others, a High Tea in the afternoon while cruising the Vecht from 2:30 – 5:00 p.m., and after the tea further opportunities for snacks and drinks. Everything was neatly articulated and sent in an offer. On Sept. 17, the day had arrived. A bright day, unfortunately there was not much sun but fortunately it was dry, and the temperature was pleasant. We were hospitably received by a hostess and the captain in the picturesque center of Breukelen, and after everyone found their seats, the mooring lines were cast off. The hostess made sure to keep the cups filled and everyone enjoyed the fine elaborate buffet. The children also enjoyed themselves, and everyone was welcome to take a seat behind the helm, or have a chat with the captain. It is nice to see a piece of history being honored; the ship looks great. This is the most ideal way to continue enjoying the splendor of historic ships in a recreational atmosphere. Two and a half hours later, we moored again in Breukelen. Everyone was enthusiastic, on the next occasion we will definitely come back…”
What a super day we had Sept. 1. In addition to an über unforgettable day, we would like to tell you that the boat ride was absolutely amazing! My husband and I wanted to thank your company very much for the wonderful day we had with our family. The Dame van Amstel is a beautiful ship. The restaurants were top notch, the captain competent and cordial and the hostesses extremely helpful, they all took good care of us. A top day, never to be forgotten.
For our wedding in September, we wanted a somewhat interactive program for our small party of 30 guests. Almost immediately we thought of boating. We also looked at unusual wedding venues and ended up at the small tea dome on the Vecht by the municipality of Loenen. We wanted to combine this with a cruise and dinner afterwards at a location along the Vecht. The boat would then become our mode of transportation for the day. So we ended up with the Belle van Zuylen, a beautiful, classic salon boat. We were able to visit in advance and the organization provided us with excellent custom catering. The coziness of the boat combined with delicious treats, gorgeous weather and beautiful views from the Vecht made our day unforgettable!”
On September 9, we were married. It was a wonderful day to never forget! An important part of this day was the boat trip on the salon boat “Belle van Zuylen” from Breukelen to Maarssen. On this atmospheric boat, everything was perfectly arranged. In an intimate atmosphere, the staff made sure we didn’t have to think about anything. We at restaurant the Nonnerie and the Salon boat Belle van Zuylen have enjoyed working together since the Belle’s christening. Our restaurant is situated on the river Vecht where Belle sails: enough reason to join hands. It is common for us to alert our guests to this beautiful salon boat! Couples who, after their wedding ceremony, are served champagne with wedding cake on board have an unforgettable moment this way. But also for business and private groups that combine drinks aboard the Belle with lunch or dinner in the Nonnerie, we know each other regularly. In terms of style and allure, the Belle completely matches our venue: warm, intimate and cozy!
On April 1, we took a cruise on the Amsterdam canals. We enjoyed it. The ladies who provided the snacks and drinks did so in a professional manner. An extra word of thanks to Bert “our” captain. He was very helpful.

Just a little note from my side. I wanted to let you know that last night was a great success. We had great weather, which of course makes it even nicer than you dare to hope, but the meals and care on board were also perfect. At Slangenvegt we sat outside on the terrace, and if we hadn’t had a program, I think we’d still be sitting there now. In short, it was perfectly arranged, and everyone was blazing with enthusiasm. I even got to forward all the information already to the secretaries of other organizations because the men had come back so enthusiastic! Compliments and super thanks for all the good care!”

We were married on April 26 in the municipality of Gooise Meren aboard the Adeline. We spoke the Yes in front of our house in Muiden. Everything was good and as agreed upon. Ship in neat order, welcoming and friendly crew and a fun and relaxing trip down the Vecht. Really special to us was the quality of the hot buffet. Not a standard snack, but a delicious freshly prepared meal. Also unusual; the ship appeared to have had the greatest difficulty getting to Muiden. In the end, they were not on site and ready to receive us until just before we arrived. We didn’t notice any of that at all! For us, it was carefree.
